Two Halves of a Political Whole

It is my sincere hope that Senator McCain and his advisors will allow Governor Palin to bloom where she is planted and not fear that she will over shadow the Senator.

The hero and the hockey mom are two halves of a whole.

They are like a sail boat – you notice the sails moving with the wind, bobbing up and down along the shoreline first. You follow the sails as they move along before you notice the boat. The sails catch the wind but it’s the sturdiness of the boat that gets the sails to its destination. Senator McCain is as sturdy as the boat, he knows what he is made of, and he can take whatever the weather and the sea (Congress) can dish out. Gov. Palin is similar to the sails, catching the wind (the Nation) to power the boat to move, the first thing that is seen. Sails without a boat are just a pile of cloth. A sailboat without sails goes nowhere.

The sails and the boat know what each are meant to do and not do. Hopefully, all the little jet skis (Campaign Advisors) surrounding the sail boat will not get in its way and move them off course.

Who would have thunk?

Who would have thunk...

A baby boy with beautiful eyes could wake the lions of the left, bearing their claws

Who would have thunk...

A baby boy, barely 4 months old, could ignite a national, public paternity debate

Who would have thunk...

A baby boy, proudly displayed by those who love him, could whip up a media frenzy because he managed to escape the womb alive.

Who would have thunk...

A baby boy with special needs could spark a debate on what “choice” really means, never to know it was not intended to include him

Who would have thunk...

A baby boy with spit-styled hair could rally his family to stand and rally a nation

Who would have thunk?
